Ok,
So havin had a rant about parts that don't fit my engine, I thought I'd check the engine number.
Its a 300tdi and engine number starts 21LXXXXXX, now have done a search on here and on ooogle and the only info I can find says 300tdi engine Nos start 16LXXXXXX.
I have the service book for the car with the supplying dealer stamp etc in the book and the numbers match, same with the V5, both state 21LXXXXXX
Can anyone out there give me any idea whats going on and why my number dont match what I can find elsewhere????
