hi all still have trouble with wifes l-series changed 2 glow plugs and now the light sometimes flickers on then it judders a few times then ok but now getting worse now cant see to find whats wrong as i say only changed 2 glow plugs many thanks also light not staying on all the time just flickers on some times

it wont be the glow plugs they only help starting. . . . . . drain the water trap and re prime the fuel system first [could be a floating air lock. . . . .worth a try :) :) :)

how u go about that is that the white thingon bottom of fuel filter

ok just done that no different while it is ticking over every now and then it seems to miss fire and black smoke comes out of the exhaust then runs ok then miss fire again and black somke from exhaust
 
Worth checking . . . .check yer fuel filter has been changed recent un air filter. . . . . .after that its code check to see wots bringing the light on :) :) :)

air filter last year fuel filter not sure but dont think fuel filter would cause this problem also light dose not stay on it just flickers on some of the time

can never understand the reluctance to change fuel filters. if you don't know when it was last replaced then it could be choked, any restriction will cause the lift pump to work harder to maintain adequate fuel flow increasing the chances of it sucking in air through dodgy seals/connections. there's no guarantee it's the cause of your judder but it' well worth a try.

ok changed filter but no difference

yep under seat access, remove multi-plug and hoses, twist locking ring, remove and clean.
again no guarantees but got to be worth a look eh...
