Evening ladies & Gents.

Ok so the back story first.
2011 L322 TDV8.

Came out of our local restaurant last night. Opened car from fob,M opened passenger front door. All ok. She pressed the rocker to put it in to access then shut the door.
Our friend had a slight problem with his not unlocking (only a Renault) any way got that sorted and said our goodbyes. Car was probably open for 3-5mins.

So we get in, push brake and start button x2 nothing:(
Dash says something about “no stability control”?
Sitting in car turn off and lock from fob, unlock and open close a door start car as normal. Except now I have a yellow EML.
Drive home absolutely no issue or other messages on dash just the EML.

M drove to shop this morning and still EML, No issue with starting or running.

So after shop run plugged in the IID. 5 new faults all to do with the keyless entry, (which I am guessing means the remote as we don’t have passive keyless entry).

Sorry can’t remember the numbers but they were all about antennas left, right, center and load space. Can’t remember last 1.

Anyway have cleared faults, shut up car and locked, unlocked and started no EML:).

So will now wait and see if it comes back.

So any ideas? Fob batteries are about 5yrs old but never had any problems with use. Need to check manual Incase there is a timeout. And consider changing fob batteries if it shows again.

If it was just a gremlin then the IID has just saved us an 120klm round trip and a reset cost??

If anybody has any idea I will be great full thanks.

As your mate also had trouble with his Renault, I would suspect RF interference from something local to the restaurant.

Well it’s a thought.

I didn’t think the L322 suffered with the RF interference?
The restaurant is out in the sticks on its own not in a built up area, we use it a lot and pretty much park In exactly the same spot, never had issues there before.
I had opened the car walking up to it and it opened fine, before my mate had problem, I think his was the “sausage finger “ effect. Because it worked fine when I worked his remote.

Could his remote being operated a few time close to our car confuse ours?

Thanks.
