Afternoon the all, only me again.

Disco TD5 year 2000 manual.

I may need to replace or rebuilt my engine before long.

Therefore please can anyone tell how I determine whether i have a 10P,
15P or 16P or any other P engine in my Disco. ?
I have been looking on Ebay and now confused.

And, while I'm on the wide-eyed web, why are injectors different colours ? Are they interchangeable or should I not mess with them.

Thx in advance

Red.

you have a 10P if it's from 2000...unless it was replaced by the previous owner with a newer one... the number it's stamped on the LH side of the cylinder block below the exhaust manifold ... use the dedicated injectors cos there is a difference between the pressures on which they work on 10P = 1500 bar (22,000 lbf.in 2 ) and 15P = 1750 bar (25,500 lbf.in 2 ) ... 16P is for Jap specs AFAIK
