Engine cover bolt won't undo

The bolt on the driver's side of my engine cover just keeps turning. Short of a hack saw does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get the bolt out / cover off?

grab it with pliers and pull while you unscrew

Hi Sierrafery, I tried similar, big screwdriver to lever the bolt whilst using a socket but no good, just kept turning.

its a captive nut, but the weld around it will have broke, unless you can grip it under the engine cover you may have to cut it off
