Engine and head numbers

I have picked up a 2.25 diesel engine,
engine number
36103158a
188ueg
Erc4940
Cylinder head
25l3
Hrc1353
From what I understand the block is a petrol block, can anyone tell me if the block, camshaft and the rest is identical to the diesel

block is the same ,cam isnt though later petrol shared the diesel cam, most other bits differ too
