No............. decat or deEGR is without any effect on MOT emmision controll........at least in eastern europe:cool:

It may fail, any '93 on petrol car has to meet low emissions, i would either ask your mot man's advice before booking in or just take it & keep your fingers crossed.

Cats are NOT required for the MOT they are not a testable item, all thats needed is for the engine to past the emissions test, doubtful I think without a cats fitted. Unless your engine has worked on to produce a lean-burn engine.

Stick a fuel cleaner additive through it a few days before and rag it through the whole tank (shouldn't take long with a V8). It worked for me on an old 2 litre Rover 200 I had years ago. Had removed the cat on that.

dont need to tell the tester to run it on lpg, just make sure its switched to run on it.

if you are on lpg then you should have no problems passing emissiond but if not you are more than likely going to have problems.

If you only bought it recently why didnt you get the seller to put 12 months test on it?

If the vehicle was originally fitted with a cat and it's been removed it is an mot failure, doesn't matter what the emissions test results are.
