Elm 327/ OBD2 cheap garages known in Essex?

Hi I live in Hornchurch, essex, I need to find a cheap reliable garage i can hook the RR 4.6 hse 98 plate upto to check for fault codes, or i can pay somebody local if they have one ??

Hello Paul, You'll find AJD Landrovers Unit N5, Essex Road, Hodesdon, Herts postcode EN11 OFB. Is not that far away, they are right near the Fish and Eels Pub at Dobbs Weir. They are a well established local independent LR specialist and will plug you in and reset fault codes, make adjustments on Testbook at £40 a time. They know P38s inside out and carry a good stock of spares. Hope this is useful. I've found them to offer a first class service. JV ROVERMAN, P reg P38 DT, 51 reg P38DHSE, 1960 Rover P4.

i use the elm 327 for the engine on mine, it gets all the codes and resets them. only cost 30 quid for the lead.

it's better to have the garage do it of course with the correct gear but the lead and software i have saves trips for codes related to the gas system i.e ignition circuit malfunction and misfires!

i did, was in 'tub tho!! dont take lappy in there these days cos its in car waiting for a fault to occur so i can clear it!

I have just bought a Rangey 4.6 HSE, there are two well known brothers that will do everything on RR's Tim Hayday of Fortune 4x4 and Colin Voyce of Voycetune. They are in Billericay.
