The landy that I want will be a deisel 90 or a 110 but one that doesn't have all the electronics that modern cars / landy's have. Assuming that I go for such a landy what electronic bits are in such a landy? I am ignoring the fact that there is a wire loom and light bulbs etc.

TIA

fooking heck yer gonna have to be getting a very old one if yer not wanting there to be a few relays in it

Ah I see, The real reason for the question was to keep the veichle working if there was an emp strike. I was going to put this in the anything goes section as it would give some a good reason to rib me but thought better of it.... maybe I should move it,lol.

ah i see ya point, living where you do i can see that you'd be the first to be affected - and rightly so it's miserable up there

don't think relays will be too badly affected by EMP, might need leaving for a while for residual magnetism to disipate and reopen contacts but other than that... and you could just remove the relays and use switches!

Radio'd be ****ed tho!
