Maybe in the wrong section but someone will no doubt move it if necessary.
I got myself one of these electronic cigarettes about a month ago and have been amazed. I am now probably addicted to the electronic one but have cut my smoking from 40 roll ups per day to 5 per day and sometimes even less than that. Given that the electronic one only contains nicotine and water vapour and none of the 400 other dangerous chemicals, this must be a good thing. Another good thing is that I am not actually 'smoking' as I demonstrated to a copper who was going to book me for 'smoking ' in my taxi, which is not allowed. He didn't know what to make of it at all. Has anyone else tried these things?

not tried it myself but wouldn't knock it, i used the plastic ciggie with the nicoteen capsule type thing in it, but it was like sucking on a straw ( no resistance when you draw on it ) so i put a roll up filter in it and found it to be much more like a proper ciggie to drag on ( without the smoke obviously ) but6 i never used it every day and haven't used it for months now, just over 7 months without a ciggie and confident i won't be starting again EVER

Gessus, old bill not got much on up there then?Good luck giving up.

I quit with one 18months ago, unfortunatley i started again 3months later...
Currently on day 4 sans cigarette - so far willpower alone, however if required the e-cig may be used!

the thing about fags is that they feed the madness which makes you do something that WILL kill you....I was 60 a day so i know what i'm talking about

but...giving up is all about motivation..if you really really want to..or have to ..you will

I got one of those electronic ones, infact, I've had two.

Broke both, fixed both, broke both, fixed one, broke that, they're just soo easy to break I gave up on em.
