The simple answer is no to all your question as for the eBay sellers well they don't give a ****e they have your money. As I started the thread and have now reset my eas I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for it a few times followed all the instructions but still no luck thought I was going mad but it seems a low battery wasn't helping me either once I charged up the battery fired it up she rose to normal heigh in seconds and no warning lights go figure. I did follow wammers advice and tried to give the pump a 5 minute run but the cars battery was so low it stopped after about a minute.

No RX means no comms get the PC talking to the car and it will work as for the abs, tc their usually down to an abs sensor.

Keep trying

Only specialist kit talks to the P38.

The problem with that software is that it was written for a different time with different connectors and different operating systems. You can get it working on modern kit and O/S but it takes a bit more fiddling. Datatek on here sells leads and software at an unbeatable price and a VERY good success rate.

Alternatively there's a guy near you on LZIR with a Nanocom for a Disco 2. For £50 he can add the P38 module and read all your codes etc. Might be worth contacting him and seeing if he'd be willing to do so, although I think he'd have to drive to you unless you have a trailer? Obviously that makes things trickier.

I did have the backend going up once and the front stayed down on the stops. Even took a photo. Damned if I can remember what caused it now and I cannot work out where to get to my old threads on this new forum software. I think it may have been a dodgy compressor where it had enough air to fill the back but not the front so it shut the back at the right height but then opened the front ones and poof. Or maybe it was something in the valve-block. Only thing I can suggest is going to the top of Wammers How To and working your way through one step at a time.
