Just comming to the end of 'restoring' the electrical systems, new lights where needed etc, pinching up the connecters, and lots of silicon grease everwhere
but now got back to dash, and found a small box stuck to the back of the console with a multi way plug, and a cable floating around with the same plug on it. The box has what looks like heat sink fins on it. The plug has a lot of mud and dust on it so guess its not been pluged in for some time.
Only thing that happens when i do plug it in is that the near side diped beam comes on, and stays on regardless of where the switch is. The relay (next to it - do the headlights) continues to opperate normal
Not sure what this is as the only wiring diag I have does not have a key on it (most of it is obvious)
Is this a voltage stabaliser for the gueages? - Not sure why it would need one as the fule guage swins around when you go round a corner anyway (or is this what its ment to do?)
Any help apreciated
