The first would be the heated rear window, It worked on day one and then wouldn't go off...Now it won't come on at all, No light...Nothing!

Second would be the interior light, Goes off when i shut the door but about half an hour later it starts flickering...Dull flicker , bright, off, bright, Dull..ETC.

Third would be as posted yesterday My radio...I'll add a picture to make that a little easier but basically it looses where it was after keys out of ignition.....The plug that goes straight into the back is loose and seem's not to do much...The one i'm holding doesn't have anywhere to go? I'm confused.
Electrics I'm good with...Just not the car sort ;)

That plug & it's cable is possibly the data link to a CD multi changer, if fitted, is under the seat or audio to the bass speaker in the back door .

As for the rest, start with the simple things like an iffy earth connection.

It is fitted with a cd changer so I guess that's it. I just can not for the lofe of me figure out whu it keeps resetting the cd player. Surely it does already have a permanent live in the feed for the existing one to keep memory!
Confused.

In what way does the CD player reset? It does have a permanent live that's the same circuit as the head units, the CD controls are via the data cable.

It's an mp57, USB. It resets the time and goes back to the first song of the first folder, Rather than continuing from the last point!

Adam.

On your stereo, is it an origi al land rover unit or have you changed it? Its common on some of these head units for memory/ live feed wires to vary, colours red and yellow. Ive had to snip and swap these in the past on other cars to maintain memory altho I didnt have to with my disco when I fitted a sony head unit. Check at the pins using a multimeter before swapping anything, see which pin maintains a voltage.
Also pretty sure other lead is your multichanger.
Regarding your interior light, try to remove and make sure theres no water getting in there from a leaky sunroof, had that problem on my freelander.
Best of luck

It's a Blaupunkt MP57 so, I removed the original Deck. I'm using an iso lead i needed for my old car. I'm sure i need the ISO cable for this as the Land rover orignal connectors won't fit straight into the back.
