This really puzzles me. Everything was working without fault (almost said perfectly, but then I remembered it was a Land Rover :) ) - and then suddenly - bump

- The cruise control does not work (although the light still comes on on the button)
- The back window defroster does not work (light does not come on on the button)
- Some of the directions of the front RH seat does not work (electrical)

All of these happened at the same time, so think it must be related.
Have anyone had a similar experience?
I have checked (and swapped around) the fuses without any success.
A relay issue perhaps?

Any suggestions most welcome.

It is a 5-door, 1995 Disco ES 300TDI, automatic with 190k miles on the clock but still drives beautifully :)

I can't help you there unfortunately but i am in the same boat as yourself, exact same thing!! I will be watching this fred closely though. 98 disco es auto

1. Iffy vacuum hose, maybe a common issue.
2. Iffy relay/switch, maybe no light could mean only the bulb has blown.
3. iffy switch, maybe.

You will need to follow a wiring diagram and test with you meter and not guess, as in swapping around fuses that haven't blown won't help.
