is the video not in the dash board folder?
Aye mate, it is - but it doesn't load for me - its just sits there with the whirlygig thing, and then times out to the latest carp about "celebrity" cobblers and such:rolleyes:

Bugger, thought I'd wait for your opinion before I put it back on. Not to worry, it doesn't take much, so I'll go and try it.

This is all I get:-

Lads, Its STARTED :D
It jammed twice. Could hear the starter clunking as it tried to engage and the jamming sound was awful. Tried again, CLUNK. Tried one more time and it engaged properly and started turning over, kept it going and it came to life. :D Two years after she stopped! It's a sunny day too! Very sunny now :D

Lads, thanks for your help. That was beginning to be a bit of a worry and it's fantastic having such tremendous support behind you. BRILLIANT gents. THANK YOU :D

Mate, that's superb support. It's greatly appreciated. Many thanks. I'll have to try another short video of it running. :)
No probs, HTH.

Yep, you're right, you WILL :D:D:D:D

I remember the first start of my 300TDi after I had taken all the EDC junk off it - I had a bigger smile than a cheshire cat, and so did SWMBO:)

Helped enormously. :) So has Brown and others who have chipped in. The information is great because it can either directly solve a problem, or rule other options out or give you options to try so you can eliminate possible issues or find out it's not this or that until you reach the solution. Plus, as I said before, knowing that you have so much back up gives you peace of mind.

You're too kind! It's just I've spent more time than I care to remember waggling wires on defunct motor cars and trying to eke a bit more life out of motors with no money and no equipment.
