fukin fukin fukin fukin bastid...lights back on with front left sensor outpu too low..so ive reseated the sensor and faults gone, pulled away lights back on.. rear right sensor outpuy too low ffs ive had enuff

anyone wanna buy a disco :(:(:(:(:(:(

don't sell it so quickly.... get a last generation SLABS ECU for not big money and it'll be OK, search for SRD500070 at the breakers... i have a strong feeling that your ECU is fubar'd

Iv taken the rear sensor back out and the tip is damaged so i reckon a new hub, 3 amigos extinguish after start up but then come on after you pull away.

Im fitting a new rear hub tomorrow, Anyone know how tight the hub nut should be? I aint got a torque wrench would it be silly to do it without one?

Just stripped it down, waiting for fedex now....I bought an impact socket 32mm and £20 breaker bar from halfrauds used with a 5ft tube job went better than expected, was relieved when the torque went didnt think it was going to break so all's well and good so far.

Ive had a nighmare this afternoon.

Fitted new hub with new sensor

Got a fault 'rear right electrical failure' again, So i fitted the old new sensor (wabasco) that i bought the other day that the hub dented the end of and got the same fault as the other day 'rear right output too low'....so stuck and ****ed off i thought id try the old front sensor in the rear hub...

Shocked as i was the 3 amigos have stopped off so far but....on self test all lights come on and go off but also the abs light goes off when its s'pose to stay on untill you drive off...any ideas why it stays off on self test?

did you erase the fault code with the tester?...cos in that case it's normal for the lamp to go off after the self test...that thing with exceeding 9.4mph is for the case when you rectify the fault phisicly but you dont clear the fault code with tester...then the ABS warning will stay on untill the system is starting to work and doesnt get errors from the sensor anymore

Yes i did clear the faults, I didnt know that.

So its working as it should then with a front sensor fitted to the rear lol.

Ive emailed island 4x4 and asked if they would supply another sensor as the one on the hub is faulty.
