Hi all,
New member! I am just looking for a little help please...
I have just got an O3 3 door TD4S which has electric windows, in the manual it states the drivers window has a one touch up/down feature. Can any one verify this for me as mine doesn't, before I go shouting to the dealer AGAIN.

Thanks Team

In my Freelander you do a quick touch on the down switch and it goes all the way down, literally a click and release. Not one touch up though.
I used to have a Vauxhall Vectra and you had to set the one touch control sometimes. With the window in the up position you had to click and hold the up switch untill you heard the relay click off. Maybe you have to set the Freelander one touch in the same way.

Hi Daren,

As marksurry said, it is only a one toch DOWN function. Up you have to keep the switch pressed. And mind you, if you touch the DOWN position a little too long it works as a manual, in other words when you release the button the window will stop at the position where it was when you released the button therefore just hit the downside of the button VERY briefly and don't touch it anymore afterwards. If you lower it manually till let's say halfway down and you then stop the action, the "one touch down" is still available for the remaining half. Hitting very briefly the down position of the button should lower the window completely no matter where the window is. Sorry if it looks confusing but when everything is ok it is self-explanatory, if it doesn't work as I tried to describe go and see the dealer as the car still under warranty I hope? Good luck.

Thanks guys, yes I see now having had a car with one touch windows before I was pressing too hard!!
