Disco 2 Electric related poor starting

Hi,
I have a 2003 D2 Td5 facelift. 2 months back it started very badly when gets warm. I have changed the fuel pump, the non return valve, fuel filter, fpr, injector seals, washers, loom. No oil in red plug. Still poor starting. The first start of the day is ok, but when it is warm poor starting. Cranking but hardly fireing up. Once running no misfireing at all. I tried priming same poor starting when hot.
That’s why i think it is electric related issue.
What is your thoughs? What is the problem?

Was your injector loom genuine LR? These were the same symptoms I had when warm due to the loom breakiong down

I think it is from Britpart, will change it.

Hi, the crank sensor is suspect or it's connector gets loose after a run, when these sensors get old they used to be affected by heat, try to cool it down with a blower or something and if it starts better then replace it with a new genuine or at least premium brand one

The cranksaft sensor connector’s secure thing is broken. Can it cause the issue?

I have changed the crankshaft sensor, but the connector’s secure has broken. Can it cause the issue?

jiggle it when it doesnt start and see but if no joy you need to plug in a diagnostic tool to see some live data cos for example a faulty fuel temp sensor can cause difficult hot start issues too, that's not a kind of fault to go on a guessing game especially that you've already done most of the obvious things

Ooopsy. I’ve just checked the fuel temp sensor on the fpr and one of the two wires is broken. Tomorrow I will try to re- connect. Once it managed I let you know the result. Thanks for your advice it helping me a lot!

So today turned out that the problem was caused by swaped wiring in the cps connector. It is weird how could it start and run it is a kind of Land Rover thing. Thanks for your help!
