Ok, 6 months ago the rear wiring loom somehow dropped onto the exhaust...the result being a nasty melted mess of wiring. I patiently sorted them out 1 by 1 and things seemed fine. Recently a problem has arisen..Bear with me on this one..
The right hand side, front and rear, all lights function well.
The front left parking light and the left rear indicator, rear driving light (red one) fog lamp (not sure this ever worked) dont work at all, however the brake light does ( confusing as its the same lens as the driving light).
Now I had a good look at my wiring handywork and it all looks ok, i am tempted though to rip it all out and rewire the back end...
Or option nr 2 is replace all the lamps with new ones...the little screws that hold the lamps to the bodywork are corroded in several of them...could this lead to a bad earth connection?
Could it just be a fuse...im con(fuse)d...
Any help appreciated...i will try fixing anything but my grasp of the basics of electrical circuits is very poor...
Thanks, Mark in denmark needing to get things done before the snow gets everything wet and uncomfortable...
