egr valve bypass kit, dont break bolts

was down at driffield at weekend, got an egr bypass kit from bells, good unit. read all the forums about removing pipe from turbo manifold side and that the bolts tend to break, even with spraying them with wd40.
mine is 2003 facelift model with water jacket so all you do is leave pipe from turbo side connected and block it on drivers side of water jacket. saves a lot of grief. Thanks Bells auto services

try un doing them with exhaust very hot - works with lambda sensors

But first, with the manifold nice and hot, use a small hammer and tap the socket-cap-screws inwards a hundred fast light raps each. This will loosen them off and they should come clean out easily.

Rapping stuck bolts and screws is a good trick, but don't hit them HARD. Hit them carefully but often.
