Egr problem 2.2 PSA engine (2008£

Hi

Have an engine management light on, had the codes read and a number of faults showed up all egr linked. Car drives fine, decided to blank egr valve, lack of power struggling up hills etc. Removed blanking plate and drives ok.

Completely stuck as to why this would happen

Any help would be appreciated

Once you remove the EGR blanking plate does the engine ML go out ? if so I have read somewhere that you can get a blanking plate with a small hole in to stop this, I have sent you a link through PM conversation
