hi guys just wondering how much of a difference does a blanker kit make on the 300TDI?? thinking of getting one as seeing the amount of time the VW range brake down from them(allthough they are a newer type of valve)

Notalot more power, but certainly revs more freely and feels a lot smoother running.

At the same time as you 'do' the egr, take out all the downstream hoses, intercooler and plenum and clean them all out, they will be ****ted up!

Only makes a difference on part load (when turbo not boosting) as egr is only used on part load, when i blanked mine off it stopped most of the shunting on gear changes and improved fuel consumption by about 2+ mpg.
