Hi all,
I have a 110 with a build in 3.9 EFI, (Z gearbox).
After parking the car 2months ago I did not use it, now I try to crank it but it wont turn.
With help of the range rover 1992 14cux diagnose manual I try to get everything tested but now im lost.
so far done:
1. Battery check, was empty but now full again (y)
2. Manual starter engine via + cable at relay, starter engine turns but with key at position 2 not firing up (only start sound of fuel pump)
3. Relay tested, is ok.
4. Fuel pump is ok in position 2 and starts briefly waiting for signal of rotating engine afterwards.
5. Relais - signal is active when gearbox in P or N, when not in that position not active.
6. + key position 3, no signal at relays +
7. + key 3, no signal at ECU position 39, seems a bit of a different connector then shown in maunal, a bit more round not so square at picture, however same amount of pins.
I expect cable between key/ignition and ECU, however car is not starting when manually cranking at the relay. Or is this normal?
Help is welcome...
