you just need to get yourself in with the right people, i got a mate whos an MOTer, a mate whos a mechanic who eats sleeps and breathes discoverys and a very nice friend who specializes in the rover V8 engine and LPG fitting! with my landy these are very good people to know, now i just need to find a mate whos a welder

jokes aside whenever needing work done find yourself an good honest mechanic with a good rep and stick with him or who he recomends. Never go with anyone you dont know anything about, ask about.

ive always done me own repairs on cars but i bin lucky enuff to have mota's that aint needed major work since my engine/box changes of the 80's 90's... didnt fancy having a go at the disco gearbox, they dont mek em like they used to

Now I've done me Southdown snorkel it's easy .. I'd tried to make my own but wanted it 'bent' right etc ... just doesn't need it! Main thing is getting the right flexible tubing .. with that in place it'd be a doddle to do another from scratch I reckon.

did u take any more pics when u finished?

Yeah .. camera SD card is playing up, trying a data recovery thing at the moment on the other computer ..
