I would like to warn any other members about EBay Seller: "Classicridesnorthwales"
This guy who calls himself "Les" is a total con artist who claims that he can Re-sync / Re-programme BeCM units on Range Rover P38s.
Hovever Les is a total conman with no business premises who can NOT answer even the most basic questions about programming.
He has ripped off two of our club members who sent him unit's for repair at a cost of £140.00 each.
Both units were returned with badly soldered jumper cables forced into the plugboard to bypass the immobiliser which is NOT RE-PROGRAMMING & WILL VOID YOUR INSURANCE SO BE WARNED.
This seller has been reported to Ebay but is still trading.. BUYER BEWARE = Welsh Trading Standards informed But say that they are still trying to locate LES as the business registered address is a sheep shed in a field... Ebay Really.
Update= Ebay feedback has been gained by selling other items not just the supposed BeCM service.

Thanks for the responses guys & just to be clear here:
I have had no direct dealings with the above "classicridesnorthwales" as personally I would not send my BeCM through the post as my independent has the BBS equivalent of the T4 Testbook for all my ECU & BeCM re-syncing needs..
All I am saying is buyer beware as I personally know two unsatisfied customers, and I would hate anyone else to have to go through this drama with no fixed vehicle at the end of it.
Should any one have any further information about the above let me know & I will pass it on.
Many thanks.

Not doubting your story but perhaps you could tell us the story rather than just ranting

You mention Les - who's Les (2 minutes looking and I have his full name and address)

Your club - what club

etc etc

If you come onto the internet to slate people you need to do it properly, full details to allow others to make an informed decision..

I hope you manage to things sorted with him

has 3 x available and 1 x sold at £190 quid

i know , it’s a way to advertise the seller , lol

quote from the web site

Fully tested and unlocked complete with EKA code and a choice of setting to suit your Vehicle. I.e alarm and or Immobiliser deactivated

The registered address is legit and may be his home address. Any google maps user can add dropped pins in fields. Do Welsh trading standards rely on google maps for enforcement?

+1 - devils in the detail. post said details. Also your intro post needs some work.Looks like a nice bus in your avatar, but some proper pictures and some details of the vehicle in your intro post would get you a better response.

Thanks for your helpful comments.
I will be taking and adding some pics when we get more than two minutes sunshine... And will be filling out more details for you then.
Thanks for your interest.
Kindest Regards.

Think you need to act on this sooner rather than later. You were quick enough to post up your comments and now need to back them up.
I'm still not convinced as it was your first post so come on convince me.
If your 2 mates were ripped off why have they not left negative feedback on Ebay?

Unlikely to be his ,see the link. I used to have one of a metallic gold l322 as my avatar, just as a p/## take.

Looks like someone split up with 'Les' and is now trying to ruin his business. Poster beware defamation can bite back hard.
