Good evening all. Yes as my name sugests I did have a p38 but i saw the light and it has now gone !! Have just bought a 110 off ebay landrover 110 on eBay (end time 23-Mar-10 15:15:43 GMT)
and what a bargain. According to the seller it had a 2.5 td engine in it (and that is what I thought I had bought) but going down the road after doing the deal I thought it went well,stopped to put some fuel in and thought had better check the oil and water, opened the bonnet and guess what. It has a 200 tdi in there !( a proper defender one not a lashed up disco one) Bonus. Get it home and look at it in the daylight and its a peach. The bulkhead is excellent. The galvanised chassis is as good as new. Door bottoms very little rust. Nearly new bf goodrich mud terrains and black modulars. There is a bit of slack in the transfer box but the spare 110 that came with it has a recon one in it. The spare 110 is also in excellent order. The chassis is excellent and there is hardly a spot of rust in the bulkhead. Sorry if it sounds like im going on but have never bought anything good off ebay before, bought a discovery that was more rust body, Bought a merc vito van with a f**cked engine that cost me more to fix than its worth, Bought another p38 with a small electrical fault that turned out to be another f**cked engine. The list goes on. On the plus side the engine from the disco will now probably go in the other 110.
