do i need him to revise the invoice thingy so i can pay, or can i revise the ammount when i go in to pay for the items..

had a look through but i cant find an answer on ebay..

this aint happened to me before so i'm a bit stumped..

cheers for any info guys..

i did that last week, but not heard owt yet, thought i had asked him to do summat he couldnt do...

guess i'll just keep waiting, unless someone near weston super mare wants to collect em for me and bung em in post?

depends, some sellers will allow the buyer to edit the field, some won't - can't remember what the default is

Give it a go though, if you get to the check out page (before clicking pay with paypal) you may have a editable postage cost field, if so edit it to £10.

I used to sell a lot on eBay, buyers generally aren't able to modify any conditions of sale, which makes sense when you think about it :)

They seller should be able to modify the invoice value, you need to ask them to either modify the value, or to accept a lower value PayPal payment to the same PayPal addy and then mark the item as paid for.

Be careful if you choose option 2, you may be paying the seller outside eBay so they can still mark you as a non paying buyer.

I'm too far off Weston to collect for you, sorry :(

Newport, South Wales, so a fair way off.

This does make me think I need to take a look at the delivery section, I'm off to collect a drive train and VCU on Saturday, might be able to help some one else out on the trip :)

still waiting!!!

he's been on holiday, got back over a week ago and sed he would amend the postage...

still waiting..

getting replies to e-mails, just not revising the postage..
