im new to the P38, but not new to EAS issues-ex TD5 & TDV6 disco owner!! But now got a P38 and a pal at work has offered me an emergency bit of kit that you fit to the EAS compressor should it fail that you can pressurise the airbags with using an airline! is this a handy tool to have? and how much is it worth? dont want to rip him off or myslef

On ebay it's £30 for four valves up to £280 for some vastly over-priced kit - consisting of four valves and some bits of pipe.

P38 compressors rarely fail suddenly and can be over-hauled and re-sealed for £25 in about an hour. Think carefully before you add something that could be a load more junctions from where you could lose air, and shorten your compressor's life.

Hi, i dont think you need to fit it all the time, its to be kept in the boot and fitted if it does fail, from what he tells me??? i had one fail on my TD5 disco, but was ok after half hour and lived for 6 more months lol!

Spend the cash on overhauling the EAS and the diagnostic cable, then you won't need it.
