had a flat battery due to my son leaving the interior light on jump started her now ok the eas was playing up aswell so put the lap top on cant get a good idle continuous and the rx signal has all different values coming back not a continous rf any body any ideas could it b the cable or a ecu fault. the suspension is almost correct but not quite right one for datatek i think

Could tell you but I'd hate to step on Datatek's toes.

Didn't he say that he was going on a canal cruise?

Ah well :D

yes keith when l fitted the new valve block but the original cable l lost it. so this cable is one l borrowed and lm not convinced its ok and the guy l borrowed it off has never used it but the idle light will not stop green and u get a list of faults like war and piece also this lap top workrd ok when it went into hard fault last time before i fitted the valve block, also u cant adjust the heights as she is sitting slightly to one side when in normal height. the only thing l havent checked is the rear of the obd socket as it was dark when l got round to testing it again

If you know the laptop/USB adaptor combo works, then quite likely it's the cable. Certainly worth checking the back of the OBD connector though.
