P38A EAS keeps farting at me!

I have ordered, off the bay of e, a replacement block and pump, so when that arrives i’ll replace the current block and then refurbish it. I’ll let you know how i get on. Any special advice for anything i should look out for while replacing the block?

Now that’s enigmatic Mark - what are they?

If you don't know buddy you will do, three little none return valves the live in the end of the block that can wear and cause leaks. There two one way and another the opposite way. @kurtjohnson10 has these.

Remember exactly how it comes apart and then you know how to put it back right

Take photo's as you pull it apart and number each solenoid with a corresponding number on the block as you take them off.

I always say record or take pictures of what you take apart, easier to remember when putting back together then

i remember a customer once labelled them 1-5 across the top, that was fine but he had the block the other way round when he put them back on, never seen a blue coiled wire where a number 5 coil was supposed to be before that

I know because I tried in vain to do mine and got one from you when I have time I will try to do mine again as a spare but no rush for it yet fingers crossed just fitted all new pipes and new air bags

That's why I said put a corresponding number on the block

yep, there are lots who don't though as i have found out over the years mate

I have a brand new compressor and basically brand new valve block for sale.
I am putting it in the for sale forum if anyone interested.

I only just had them available Nick, I have listed them in the Land rover parts for sale forum on here.
The valve block is as good as new and the pump is brand new.

One thing I did was to fit an L322 air compressor it charges the tank on no time. Made a new plate for to sit outside the solenoid box. It's a little noisy compared to the standard but has a much easier life
