The old favorite EAS on my 2002 p38. I believe my compressor runs to often if i open the door the compressor fills the receiver tank quickly and switches off and stays off ( for a long period). If i raise the car it goes to normal height within 30 secs i have sprayed the bags with soapy water and cannot see any leaks. The only other fault i can see is when the car is at stand still i can hear clicking from the solenoid pack then the front drops by 1 inch or so then raises back up then the compressor kicks back in this happens regular when the car is running. Other symptoms are if i park the car and leave the door open for a while letting the eas time out the car will sit at the height no problem. If i leave the car shut the door the eas does random things maybe dropping to access height or even raising to wadding height!
I suspect having read most of the eas threads on here the eas driver pack what do you think?

what you describe is almost normal behaviour. They should level themselves after a door has been shut with the engine off, but this is only done by letting air out of the bags, not pumping them up !. You have an exhaust and a pressure valve, plus valves for each bag. To inflate a bag the pressure valve opens and the bag valve opens allowing air into the bag to inflate. To lower the same happens but the exhaust valve opens instead. If it is rising when it should be going down leads me to believe that the pressure valve is faulty. Kits are available to repair.
