When you wired out the white connector, did you do both sides? The one for the EAS is on the passenger side. On each side there are two white connectors the small one for the speakers the larger for the EAS is on the passenger side.

The height sensors are not precision made, changing a height sensor always requires a re-calibration or the car is unlikely to sit level.

I stand corrected. The workshop manual does say that recalibration is needed whenever you change a height sensor.
Having T4 Testbook I usually connect this up in realtime and note all settings. Then replace the sensors making sure they are to the previously recorded values, I also always replace as pairs across the axle and re-do a height check. works for me.

When you say both sides do you mean theres more eas plugs behind the drivers kick plate? In which case no i didnt do both sides, i only did the 2 white plugs in the passenger footwell.
Been out in the car all day today and not once has the eas fault popped up. Normally i have the 2 switches on the dash (motorway+wheel symbols) pushed in/on Today i've had them in the off/out postion not sure if this has make any difference to my problems but though it might be a good bit of info to share that i hadnt mention before.
Also i love the snow all those prius drivers arent out sneering at me

Yes, there are two more connectors on the drivers side. If you connectors were bad on the passenger side then they will probably be the same on the drivers side.
You should have an owners manual in the glovebox which will explain how the switches work.

Think Wammer put something in his how to. SaintV8 or Datatek can send the heights. Basically you just measure the height and program the system until it matches that height. Someone told me that multi-storey car-parks tend to be level so that's a good place to do it. Good tip!

yer i read what they do in the owners manual, what it doesnt show is how they are wired into the circuit, I'd assume that they just just talk to the ecu.
It just seemed odd that the fault never came up all day once after i'd changed the postions of them. I was just wondering if a faultly switch would cause it.
i've got a rave workshop manual and for the life of me i cant find the wiring diagrams in it.
I'll have a look at the drivers side ones today then.

That's fine if the ride heights were correct to start with. Unlikely if a sensor has got to the point of needing replacement.

That is the correct way of doing it. Adjust sensors on their mounts until they are within two beats side to side. But it should be done with setting blocks.

So to answer my earlier question about the postion of the switches, No its doesn't make any difference, fault came up again today.
I didnt get time to look at those plugs today i spent most of the day replacing all the brake lines, and the rest of it sweeping the water out of the workshop after all the snow had melted off it. I'll have a look at them tmw.

Couple of things I'd like to add,firstly I reckon you have a 1 in 3 chance of the car sitting level after a height sensor change,then it depends on what you can put up with in terms of how bad it looks....
Secondly if you look at the values the EAS ecu will store after using testbook and calibration blocks,you often see bit count values 6 or 7 bits different side to side.And sometimes a huge difference front to rear.They are only bit counts,used as a value by the ecu.Same situation with SLS on the rear of DII's,the stored bit counts are often say 149 left and 155 right.All that matters is that the car sits right and that the sensors give a smooth transition of resistance as the height changes.

I've still not got to the bottom of this yet, the fault hasn't come up in over 2 weeks but today it popped up again, and i've also got a new problem to content with, A nice bit of wobble coming through the car.
On a positive note it passed its MOT with no advisory's...... some how
