Hiya mate, glad things are coming together for you. But if it's any consolation i am having a little bother with my EAS. What has come up is the fact that my ACER laptop which has only USB connectors, no serial port. Cannot sync with EASunlock software using USB-serial adaptor. But my Dell steam driven laptop with a serial port does it every time without problems. Both machines are running XP.

There are a lot of USB adaptors out there that don't work, often on Vista, less often on XP. Some come without a driver which seems to be part of the problem. I got mine in a hurry on holiday from Maplin and it worked straight away so I was lucky.:D:D:D

mines is a logilink so decent make and came with driver cd i also went on to there site and downloaded the driver from there as well and tried that but who knows maybe does not work?

wrxfifer, glad to hear you've sorted the eas problem.

I know you don't feel like trying the eas software but you will have to one day, better to try it at home than being forced to up the road miles from home. And I bet the ride heights should be adjusted to standard spec.

never went out john had relatives in gonna take it a 20-30 mile run in morning see what its like will post after it

good idea ill be sure to try that one once i get the belts working thats sort of holding driving it up a little dont want to chance anything now as sure as hell ill get stopped or something lol
