Today I was sorting the thermal switch on my compressor, and the motor housing rolled off the bench onto the floor . . . . Result = broken magnets. Trying to glue them back in place with impact adhesive, but not sure this is gonna work !!

Has anyone got a duff compressor that could be used for parts ? I only need the outer housing with intact magnets.

Thanks,
Pete

I might have an outer shell with the magnets in it in my box of EAS bits.

I had a compressor I was going to refurbish, but the armature bearing that goes into the cylinder was faulty. Managed to source a replacement but haven't been able to get the old one off the shaft, even with pullers and all sorts of other ideas - so gave up on it. Drop me a PM if you haven't got it sorted already and I'll have a look in the garage when I get home later.
