What is the vehicle doing and can you post any screen prints of the fault???

It's likely to be an out of range signal from the height sensor. If you're up to it, take it off, take it apart and clean it up using electrical contact cleaner

More than likely just another tired old P38 with a set of perished springs, worn out compressor and height sensors.(And thats just the EAS)Sinks to the bumpstops overnight and you drive off in the morning before its up to height.Hit one of the squillion potholes around and the weight of the car totally squashes the bumpstop and registers an out of range fault.
Or maybe I'm a cynical git who is fed up with worn out P38's........

FR + front right sensor as seen from the drivers seat. Could just be water in the connector. With the tailgate open to disable the EAS, unplug the sensor connector wash it out with contact cleaner, re-fitt and then clear the fault and see if the fault comes back. If it does, replace the sensor. As eightinavee says if your airbags are shot it won't help.

Cheers guys,
bags are ok, this fault happened a few times but always cleared. When working the bags will stay up no problem overnight ,or over the weekend or longer.
Where is the switch/sensor i have to clean located

Best to look in RAVE, but failing that, if you get underneath just behind the front wheel, mounted on the inside of the chassis rail behind a guard plate you will see it.

ended up taking it to my local LR specialist just to put on their diagnostic machine as it was only £35, they said it was defenitely the pump, they tried one off another and it worked so got a new pump, cleared the fault, fitted the new one, and got all the flashing lights as soon as I started it EAS Fault again, not having a lot of luck at the mo, any more advice, please , I need heeelllp :-(

I wonder why the garage would change the pump when the fault logged is Front Right sensor? Perhaps cos it's more expensive?? Fit a new front right sensor, about £60 and see what happens. It's a simple job:D

Good specialist! I'd demand a bleeding refund. The error message is quite specific. Nothing to do with the pump!

On the Rave CD it says once a new height sensor is fitted the vehicle needs to recalibrated, how would I do that, or is it not really needed.

Cheers guys

Yes, you will have to re-calibrate the ride heights. The free to download RSW Solutions software does the job well.:D:D:D Heights are given in RAVE, or do a search, Irish has posted the correct heights several times.:)
