early 90 door latch mechanism

Hi Gents,

The door latchmechanism on our early 90 is worn so that you can't quite open it from the inside the part number is MUC6979 but it's no longer available as it is a lift up handle version with an inside door pull handle too.

any ideas on where to find one (already tried Ebay and the usual suppliers paddocks craddocks brookwells etc.) would be greatfully received

thanks for the replies gents, If I can't get a replacement I will dismantle it cut a new "cam" and rivet it on.
Just thought it would be easy to chuck a few quid at it and sort it for good.
