After owning our Disco Td5 2004 for 6 years I was shocked when the police stopped me saying it had no tax. I pay via Direct Debit. Turns out that DVLA are saying they have had notification to scrap vehicle from an authorised person. Looking at forums this is quite common and usually down to admin error on their part however after sending photos etc they keep asking for the stamped in vin plate. Iv sent photos of a vin plate visible when I open the bonnet. One on the passenger side window fascia but they are asking for more. Where do I find it folks?
