Dumb Tyre question.

Hi Guys,

I've got a 1996 Disco with tyre size 255/65/16 and I'm having a hell of a job getting tyres for it in Scotland, been after something similar to the goodritch all terrain or general grabber AT2 but can't seem to get them at that size. Is there another size or profile that would also fit ?
I remember getting a different size on the rover a few years back, but couldn't remember how it worked.

Your input much apreciated.

If you can't get a size close by, get them delivered and fitted at a local tyre fitters.

What make of tyre is it that's fitted? Who fitted them, and where did they get them from?

Looks to me like they're not a normally fitted tyre, maybe they're a lower profile road only tyre ... in which case you could probably fit almost anything remotely knobbly, AT's, MT's etc and make it work much better off-road, but then, it all depends on what you want from it.

theres an ats in berwick, not the cheapest but could order anything you want i'd guess.
