Been having stereo trouble. Seemed to have narrowed it down to the DSP amp. Took it into a repair shop I've used many times for repairs and code sorting. They took one look and said it can't be repaired and will have to be replaced with new:(
Do they just not want the work or are these things non ecconomical to repair?
Has anyone out there repaired one successfully themselves or knows a place that does.
New is out of the question and second hand are rare and still expensive and could be as useless as mine!!
Any help much appreciated.

I had the same prroblem. My electronics guru says it cause the amplifier chips are fused to the mainboard and cant be replaced. There is hope though, check out this post. I managed to get a spanking new one for $35 !!!!

Failing that try this guy - Joe I think his name is - EMMOTTS

Thanks for that rewmer. Theres one on flea bay at the mo, wants £250 for a second hand unit which could be as knackered as mine. Just have to keep my eyes peeled and hope something comes along. Don't know how much longer I can without my sounds before I go down the aftermarket route!!
