The ac is part of the program mode on the hevac for demist that puts the front and rear heated screens on and the fans to deice the car and dry the front screen and it works very well.

Exactly soSo basically what your saying is if the a/c don't work your car will soon follow due to all the damp build up
IMO BMW used very poor quality connectors that corrode at the least sign of damp, this leads to other problems such as a cooked BECM. On my Toyota, all the important connectors have gold flashed pins so they do not corrode.Perhaps Vaseline on every connector possible may help with the corrosion issues? i have also had many Toyota Colorado's with no electrical issues but as whats been said there not a RangieExactly so

Connectors may stop corrosion but it will also act as an insulator so not advisable.Perhaps Vaseline on every connector possible may help with the corrosion issues? i have also had many Toyota Colorado's with no electrical issues but as whats been said there not a Rangie
