Hello, i have a 2000 Freelander 1 diesel which i really enjoy. Recently there has been a drumming noise from the front at 50 to 60ish mph in 5th gear ,which is getting worse. If i keep the revs up in 4th and change at 60mph it is not as bad, but this is not the way i want to drive. If i dip the clutch when the drumming is there it goes away. Has anyone else had this and if so did they manage to cure this very annoying problem? Thanks John

What is millage on your f/l? Hope not but it could be a dmf problem.
