perhaps james can confirm but i thought there was 2 drop arms and the wrong one on the wrong box results in it coming loose ?

wrong drop arms are obviously wrong , worn splines or slight mismatch in taper, taper needs to be quite precise to lock well, usually i find if you really nip nut up and stake well they stay tight
