Freelander 1 Drop links

Right chaps, having had 2 sets of drop links in about 10 months i have been looking into the cause of the problem further, it appears that the shop i have been getting them from has been suppliing the wrong ones, (gave them reg no etc, etc) there is 1 which has a 148mm long rod for up to vin YA which is avalible in original, aftermarket or oem, part no 100172 or there is 1 for vin 1A upwards which is 158mm long in the rod only avalible in original, part no 100262, dose anyone Know of any oem or aftermarket for 100262 as i cant find any about, to be fair i can only find this original one at rimmer bros and nowere else.

Your timing is utterly bizzare. (and good for me, I guess.)

Would this cause the ride height to be different?
My passenger side is 8mm higher than the drivers after replacing the droplink on my passenger side about 6 months ago, and as started rattling again.
