Droning noise! (and voices in my head!)

does it sound like your problem? i dont have any wobble at all though

on my freelander while going up a hill the whole car was shaking and changing up and down gear it turned out to be the VCU bearings which were shot so the prop was all over the place not as I am sugesting this is your problem

I think I'm also are hearing the same voices, I'm sure there's more resistance when driving but when reversing on full lock it is the same as it was when new. No vibrations though.

I've had the VCU checked out be YLS in York and although they can't guarantee the VCU won't fail tomorrow it was not notchy or excessively stiff. Mines done 96k and although I'm convinced it will explode at any minute it just keeps going.

Its only the steering wheel wobbling.. no other vibrations or judders anywhere.. gears all engae smoothly, car doesnt shudder or anything, just the steering wheel wobble..

This started after i got out of that saturated field about 4 or 5 weeks ago, and now over the last two weeks this drone has started at the rear right.

The cars going to have its front wheels balanced tomorrow, so ill see if that makes a difference and report back
