Driving with no front prop (P38)

The UJ on my front prop was FUBAR, I've removed it expecting the new UJ's to arrive but they've not.

I'm now unable to do anything on the car until the weekend and my wife needs to use it.

She'll be driving less than 100 miles before I fix it, can it do any damage?

My RRC did the same in Italy The nwe transfer box was too stiff and the automatic Difflock would not engage
