Howdy all,
As some of you know, I like lights
Here is my roof bar set up....
which have LED's inserted for side lights
and the rear setup.....
again these have red leds fitted so they also act as tail lights
Now I am thinking of updating them all to LED lights, something along the lines of these Cree 18w versions....
4 x 18W 4" Cree LED Work Light Lamp Bar Flood Beam Jeep Tractor Truck 12v 24v CE | eBay
However as I need 8 of them, its going to be a dear do, so I thought I would ask if anyone is running any LED lights and what you think of them.
I do have switches on the lights (for 2 lights or 4 lights on the front) for them to come on independently (as well as with main beam (well not the rear ones!) to use as work lights, so I thought the LED ones will use less juice, plus hopefully be brighter.
I did change all of our home GU10 bulbs to cree LED ones, and they only lasted about 3 months before they started to flicker, so that was a waste of money - 33 bulbs I bought!!!
Not fancing the LED light bars, as they won't fit my setup
