I plan to replace the leaking RHS drive shaft oil seal (into the ird). To do this I need to remove the large driveshaft nut, then refit later on. Torque needs to be 400Nm I think. My torque wrench will only go up to 210Nm, so I’m looking to buy another. Can anyone advise how they put similar torque on a driveshaft nut, and what they used to do it?

When you take the front wheel off, it's the big nut behind that. Haynes and rave both quite 400Nm torque on this nut. Getting it off could be fun, but putting it back needs to done correctly. Hence the torque wrench question.

We have a car at work repaired some years ago which had the wheel fall off.
 
or you could just torque it up to as much as you can with your torque wrench, and then go to ATS or somewhere and get them to do the rest with one of there big lorry wrenches. Thats what i did.
 
In the end I bought a torque multiplier like jimjp advised. £125 on ebay. I know it’s a lot of money for something that may not get used often but it enabled me to replace the seal and learn how to repair something else on my Freelander. The drive shaft nut torque should be 400Nm. This is a safety thing so I chose the safe option. I’ve tried tightening bolts up before and struggled. Hurt my hand the last time, so this time I thought it would hurt less if I bought the right tool for the job.
