maybe you should read you post again what the hell would a sinking seat have to do with fuses ?post nonsense =receive nonsense

The CD changer is under the drivers seat, and if its a leccy seat you'll have the wiring etc for that under there too.

If its a manual seat, there will only be the CD changer, if fitted.

I removed the seats from my '98 Tdi last week to fit RRC ones, and unfortunately I've already disposed of the frames, springs and diaphragm so I can't send you any spares. However, I have read that you can strip the seat down and use duct tape to reinforce the diaphragm. This will help to restore the height of the seat base, assuming that the cushion foam is ok - if thats also flat then you'll need to swap the cushion foam out or stick plywood under it as suggested ^^^

HTH

Oh dear, Airarms. Slight sense of humour failure, I think. Oh, btw a piece of plywood, cut to the right size DOES work. Or is the cutting something you would have to ask a grown up to do?

FFS

Why not **** off then and go where you might fit in.

Semi-literate postings don't tend to attract help .. well, if you read them they actually do, but you often have to read between the lines and ignore or join in with the ****-taking. Joining in and embracing the humour and laughing at yourself helps .. a lot.

Mind you, I somehow sense you'd be a right boring feckwit in real life .. ;)

HAND ...

someone on here suggested fuses under seat. its not that ive now found the problem. dont want to use plywood. im not averse to some banter but when isk a question for help i would of thought id get a sensible answer if i didnt i would of asked question in jokes section.

sensible answer hey thank you nigel -s. under the seat theres a piece of strong material that hooks either side of the seat connecting it is a piece of rubber thats finally given way hence sagging seat.
i said i only mentioned fuses because it was suggested to me and who the hell said cd changer.
loads of threads for help why mine attracted jokes such as loose weight eat more saled. i dont know why. i can laugh and joke with the best of them. but that was just **** take.?

Helpful, well done, but why dismiss plywood as a 'cheap' fix till you can get the proper parts?

And? You mentioned fuses in the first post without any attribution, as though it was what _you_ thought.

and who the hell said cd changer.

In the context of your question and suggestion of fuses, other options were mentioned in an attempt to give you a full answer. Just 'cos the answers you got don't tally with what you want, or expected, doesn't mean the answers are wrong or the posters are not trying to be helpful, just that YOU can't see the wood for the trees ... or read between the lines.

FFS ... You really do appear to be more than averagely feckwitted. Of course it was ****take, banter, humour, so what? If you want a straight answer ask a straight question, not your ambiguous first post that could be taken any number of ways. Who's to know a collapsing seat isn't the floor giving way due to rust? Who's to say it isn't the seat frame bending? There are all sorts of reasons for your issue, so stop fecking whining and be happy you got to the answer quite quickly ... Maybe if you'd just looked you wouldn't have felt the need to infect the forum with your illiterate ramblings and vitriol.

PS: Your literacy doesn't appear to improve as you get angrier either!

You come here asking a question and then say the replies are ****e well #### off somewhere else then, my reply was serious and i wont be answering any more of your questions FFS.
