drivers door adjustment

Hi, The top left hand corner of my drivers door is hitting the A pillar, is there any adjustment that can be made ?

Yes the doors have adjustable hinges just slacken the screws after that's done adjust the lock striker pin.
The question is why should you have to adjust the door, is the hinge worn if so replace the hinge first then adjust to fit.

As far as I can see I'd need to remove the wing to get to the bolts that hold the hinge on below the A Pillar, or can you adjust them where the hinges attach to the door..cheers
 
There should be a set of shims shaped like a letter E behind the hinges if it's dropped take a shim from the top hinge and add it to the shims on the bottom hinge. this will tilt the door backwards at the top.
