Drive Belt Tensioner Pulley Bearing

Hey Guys,
Has anybody replaced the altenator / water pump drive belt tensioner pulley bearing on a TDI300 engine? How easy is to get the pulley off and how easy is to then get the bearing out?
Mine sounds like a cat with it's tail wrapped round it!!

Either that or it's the water pump! Bearing cheaper option first?

it is quite an easy job realy not sure about the bearing i just got myself a new unit it was easyer and it stoped my squeeling

tryed it on mine and it dident wort

Just changed the bearing on the tensioner pulley, easy job, now nice and quiet, Bearing £4 on ebay, Better than £45 for the complete tensioner from land rover.
Will be buying a second as aspare!
